A Flying Festive Round-up

naomi_jay The last guest blog post will go up tomorrow come hell or high water. Or possibly both, who knows? In the mean time, here are the facts:
1. I am recovered from my food poisoning. Huzzah! I'm not sure what caused it - either dodgy Chinese last Friday or dodgy Italian last Saturday. Either way, I am pleased to report that I was sufficiently recovered to eat mass amounts of Christmas food, which made everyone (well, me) very happy.
2. What also made me happy was my Christmas present from Kyle - a trip to Paris in January! More huzzahs! I'm so excited. The 15th can't come soon enough. I think we both need a real break, given how rough the past few months have been, and Paris is perfect. Especially since I was supposed to go last February but had to cancel at the last minute.
I am now watching Day of the Triffids, having spent the day cleaning the house to within an inch of its (and my) life. Kyle has laid new kitchen flooring, and we have some kind of gooey toffee cake thing to enjoy. Tomorrow, the final guest blog will be blogged, and after that I might think about a few resolutions for 2010. It's going to be a big year for me writing-wise, so I should make a proper attempt to be organised and so forth. We'll see how that goes...
