I've been pointed to that letter half a dozen times now. Funny thing is, when I read it I just thought "yeah, fine, but Adrian Plass does it so much better"

Not entirely surprising. He's a Christian writer with a taste for satire. One of his books features an elderly gentleman writing a letter of complaint regarding a toaster he had bought.
