Alternative Phrasing Needed
May. 21st, 2007 08:46 pmI'm at my grandparents' printing out Night's Black Agents and I've noticed a few phrases I'm seriously overusing:
"The fire rose inside her."
"The smell of lilies/sulphur perfumed/scented/tainted/etc the air."
"But she couldn't trust him/But I can't trust you/But I don't trust you."
"I wouldn't kiss you/help you/get in this car with you if you were the last man on earth."
"Christian, stop!"
Also phrases that will never fail to amuse me:
"Christian stop!"
Okay, just that one phrase that will never fail to amuse me....
