Have you considered using a filter just for your Twitter posts? I enjoy your posts on writing and life, but I'd rather avoid the Twitterspam. If you're not interested in making a filter, I totally understand--it's your journal! Just wanted to suggest it in case others on your flist would prefer the opt-in/opt-out filter for tweets as well. (And if you decide not to make a filter, I wanted to let you know it's nothing personal if I take you off my flist) Cheers!

I usually skim right past other people's Twitter posts on LJ, so I get it! I've changed my settings so all my Twitter posts appear under a cut. Hopefully that helps cut down your twitspam!
