I think I mentioned this before but Friday the 13th is my favorite horror movie of all time. And it's my favorite horror movie series. Although, some of the later Jason movies got seriously lame - I'm talking about you, Jason Takes Manhattan.

Ah, now I like Jason Takes Manhattan! I love that the directors obviously decided they couldn't work the horror angle any further and plumped for black comedy instead. Now Jason Goes to Hell is truly, truly terrible. But Friday 13th III is my favourite, just for the introduction of the hockey mask!

My one beef with JTM is that it's supposed to be Manhattan. It obviously wasn't. lol At least make it look like Manhattan. I know a lot of places are substituted for Manhattan and they've done much better jobs of it.

I do admit Jason melting away into a little boy was kind of cool and sad. Yet, confusing.

Oh, yes, Jason Goes to Hell is really, really bad.

Have you seen Freddy vs Jason? I liked it. My brother not so much. I think he was mad because they got Jason's eye wrong. The eye that's supposed to be messed up. He said it was the wrong eye. I must be a bad fan for not noticing it. lol

We grew up watching the Jason movies together. And although, I don't think it was supposed to be intentionally funny, we always laughed at it, Jason Lives.

Too many funny one liners. lol

Oh yeah! It was filmed somewhere in Canada, wasn't it? I always crack up at the scene of Jason peering up at the billboard of the guy in a hockey mask.

I haven't seen Freddie vs Jason yet, but it's lined up for the marathon! I'm stupidly excited about it - I am a massive Jason fan too. Spent all day yesterday bombarding people with useless Friday 13th trivia.

Yup, it was!

Well, I won't give anything away. :) Now I'm in the mood to watch Jason. But it's weird though, I don't have any of them on dvd. And the reason is, is that I'm waiting for the ultimate Friday the 13th Collection with all of the movies and TONS of extras. Which I don't think is going to happen. I think there is a 6 movie set, but I want all of them together, even the lame ones.

Oh, I do have Freddy vs Jason though.
