Smackdown, OF COURSE!

IN RE: I'm guessing that TDAH is both comicly exaggerated, and also a poorly written smackdown. Ms. Nonymous weilds a vital pen, regardless of the typos, grammatical mistakes and ATROCIOUS editing. If it IS a memoir poorly disguised, and if even 1/10th of what is written actually happens, it's an amazement to *ME* that anybody will work either with the object of the book or for her. The portrait of "Howard", though . . . it's what I've always thought BTTG would be like in real life. His behaviour at the cons etc certainly gives that impression, at any rate!

Lol, all very true! I just wish desperately Darla Ann Onymous had taken the time to have her work properly proofread, critiqued and beta-read, and it would be so much the better for it! Mind you, I'm sure she doesn't mind - looks like the Kindle version is selling like mad, and she must be raking in a decent profit!

Gosh, I HOPE so. She deserves to have both some payback given her, AND make some money off the book.

Wouldn't you just LOOOOOOOOOOVE to be a fly on the wall when one of the troos brings it up? If we're lucky, it will be on Twitter or the Facebook page. NOT that lkh will respond to it, of course, since such negativity is beneath her imperial notice . . . still, I'd love to see the consternation!

I imagine Team LKH has gone into total shut-down mode to keep the news reaching Laurell herself! If the book tells true... this kind of blow to her ego could keep her from work for weeks!

Or we might be treated to Dear Negative Readers II, in which Laurell lambasts those who aren't loyal to Anita.

brb checking the forum. I know there was a thread for Fairy Exterminators down in the Other Author section.

ETA: Fast check is fast. There's bupkis over there, which doesn't really anything as they could have deleted any mention of the book, or they just haven't found it yet.

*claps hands* Report back! I'm excited now. What did people make of Fairy Exterminators?

The FE thread has crickets chirping in it. I do believe the person who posted the thread is one of Darla's friends. The only comment in the thread is mine to say that the book is no longer available. The Other Author section seems to be more concerned with Kim Harrison.
