Okay, crunch time. If I want to achieve my goal of having a first draft of BLOOD HUNT done by the end of August, I need to go crazy. A Nanowrimo-style marathon may have to ensue. I'm scared.
I know I can do it, I just don't know if the finished product will be any good. Of course, I have nobody to blame but myself - I should have started BLOOD HUNT back in May instead of worrying over a non-contracted novella that could happily have waited three or four months. *slaps wrist* Lesson learned. Now to crack the whip at myself. 1,500 words a day should produce a reasonable first draft, and working on my lunch break at work and a bit in the evening should give me that and leave enough time for sleeping and eating. Maybe working too, I don't know.
28146 / 70000 words. 40% done!
