  • 11:35:45: @Skarrah Lol, I hate that. When it's right on the tip of your tongue but no amount of thought will summon the word
  • 13:04:05: Yay! 1517 words on my lunch break. Anything else I do now today is just a bonus ^_^
  • 13:08:09: @Larkn0298 I do better writing on my lunch breaks - no internet, no people, no distractions. Just me and the machine!
  • 14:51:51: @kazmahoney I try that, and before I know it, I'm 5k into a new project and what I'm supposed to be working on is languishing! :)

Yay, beat my target for the day again! Look at that word count rise. And I finally wrote my angry mob scene! I admit it didn't turn out quite how I envisioned - there's very often a big gap between what I see in my head and what I can convey on the paper - but I'm happy with it for a first draft.

Now I've got the emotional aftermath and the big "doorway of no return scene." Because the angry mob scene didn't pan out exactly how I planned in terms of Ayla and Shannon being together, this next bit probably isn't going to go quite how I planned either, unless I write in a massive coincidental reunion, which seems like cheating... One to sleep on, I think.
