AFTERLIFE release date pushed forwards!

The good people at Damnation Books have decided to push forward the release of AFTERLIFE to December 1st 2009.

That's December 1st 2009, people. That's when my debut novel will be published. December 1st 2009. Me. My novel. AFTERLIFE. Published. As in, you can buy it and stuff.

Holy crap.

That's really not that far away! I wish wasn't at work surrounded by distinguised Japanese astrophysicists so I could jump around and scream like a crazy person. My debut novel will be published before the end of the year. I cannot say it enough! Expect shameless promotion and hopefully some giveaways to follow as I work through edits and gear up for release and generally wander through El Jay Land singing "AFTERLIFE will be publised on 1st December 2009, lalala!"

Speaking of which - anyone got thoughts on promotion? What you like, what you don't like, what might be fun? I've done giveaways in the past, and would like to do more if people are interested and it ties into AFTERLIFE's release.

That's AFTERLIFE, by the way. The debut novel by Naomi Clark, the woman who bought you ... um ... Apocalypse Squid. 1st December 2009. Totally buyable.

And you should totally have "the woman who brought you Apocalypse Squid" as part of your promos. I may be biased, though. Apocalypse Squid. You can't really go wrong with one of those.

BE LOUD AND BE PROUD WOMAN!! You so freakin deserve this!! From the moment I met u I KNEW u had talent and I am SO glad to witness this wonderful event in ur life!!!! U've gone thru a lot to get to this point Naomi. I look forward to reading ALL ur writings, whether the be PUBLISHED novels or just short stories. U freakin rock girlie!

Hmmm, idea's on promotions...Let's see. ARC's, tshirts, key chains, book signings. That kind?? When u go to those book conventions do they give you any kind of list of thing u can do or give away??
