Lol. I get some of best ideas from dreams. I like to put a character in a really tough spot, with no idea how to get him/her out of it in one piece, then let my sub-conscious provide the answer after a few days :)

Well,it may sound a bit daft, but I actually tell myself that I want to come up with a solution. I don't know tyhe science of how it works, but it's basically my conscious mind instructing my sub-conscious mind to come up with a solution.

Ridiculous? Perhaps, but it hasn't failed me yet :)
