I can't find the link now, but I read a review yesterday that said Six had attempted something clever (engaging in a dialogue with the audience who had asked for more gore, more violence, and more graphic centipede stuff) but failed to actually deliver them the extremes they wanted. So I guess he's at least attempting to "say" something with the sequel. I'm guessing he fails.
