Anti-Nano Check-In - a day late!

Sorry about that, fellow cultists. I fell over on Thursday and knackered both my arms. Those who pay close attention will know I have a chronic nerve-damage issue in my right arm (I know! I hardly ever moan about it at all!), and landing on wet concrete on my right arm is never a good idea. Add in the hyper-extended tendon in my left thumb, which I also re-injured in my fall, and I've just been too stiff and sore to do much (except moan). Anyway, long story short, I didn't do an Anti-Nano check-in yesterday.

So I'm doing it now instead!

Admittedly I don't have much to report myself. I've done very little writing this week for various reasons. The word count meter lies, in any case, because Night and Chaos is going to be well over 30k when it's done.

I love the picture! Where do you find them all?

The writing front has been productive this week. I'm loving this hands-on, visual way I've started things. My goal this weekend is to finish roughing out chapters so I can start on a real rough draft Monday. I estimated 10 chapters to reach my 20,000 word goal for this writing exercise. It's looking good so far.

Thanks. I think I might have to make a doctor's appointment next week; my fingers keep tingling and going numb. I'm used to having problems with my right arm, but I don't want my left arm to pack up on me too!

Ha! I have words! Nearly a thousand of them. It's a bit disjointed and weird right now, but come sharing time there should be something I can post. Right now it resembles more of a bad joke: a vampire, a werewolf, and a god move in together.

Ugh. I've written like a page and ahalf and I think I'm going to have to erase it because I'm flailing without an outline and I'm ripping Chocolat which I got from the library to gety ideas from.

\o/ Sweet! This is totally how I wanted Anti-Nano to go - It's not necessarily about writing entire books in a massive rush, but knowing that you're making progress.

I might skip to the climax and write that and work backward. What I'm really missing is an inciting incidents for things to HAPPEN. And Reverend Austin has been a hit or miss character-he'd not even that involved with the climactic events.
