Signing up for Summer Camp!

So, moving on. I've signed up for
kaz_mahoney's writing summer camp. My goal is to have the first draft of BAD DOGS done by August, which I think is quite reasonable, since this is about the same time scale I took to write SILVER KISS last year. Admittedly I'll be starting a bit later because of Ethan and his damn chain-smoking, but I'm still confident. I'm not setting myself any daily word counts; I'm just going to chug along and see how I go. I learnt whilst re-writing Wild that I really cannot do hardcore daily writing anymore without the arm injury flaring up and putting me out of action for a day or so. Especially on top of the day job. So I'm avoiding guilt-tripping myself with word counts, and settling for "write something every day."
Work on BAD DOGS commences on Saturday after Dad and I have visited the local recyling centre (my life! So glamourous!). Tonight, Ethan's adventure comes to an end, no matter how late I have to stay up to finish it. I'm so nearly there, it kills me to have to be at work when I could be at home writing. Just like the rest of the time...
