1. There's a growing pile of scuffed boots under your work desk that you keep meaning to take home and get re-heeled, but every day you end up forgetting them because you're too busy thinking about rushing home to edit the book.
2. There's a growing pile of dirty laundry in the corner that you keep meaning to put into the washing machine so you have clean clothes to wear the next day, but you never quite get round to it because you're too busy editing the book.
3. You have an entire season of Pysch/Being Human/NCIS LA/insert TV show here to catch up on, but you never sit down to watch it because every precious second not spent eating, sleeping, or being at the day job should be spent editing the book.
4. Your fish have eaten all the real plants in the tank and are eyeing up the fake ones (and each other) but you keep forgetting to go down to the aquatic centre to buy new ones because you're too busy editing the book.
5. The TBR pile is rapidly approaching sixty books but you don't have time to read anything because that would mean you weren't editing the book.
