Take that, man!

Thanks to everyone who offered help with my man problems. I'm happy to report that I nailed the bastard and he's now fully co-operating. Turns out what I really wanted was a world-weary loner, not a myserious, aloof, smug bastard. I already have one of those in the SoulFire series. Two is just overkill. I'm still not 100% happy with the whole "Luke, I am your father" "Lizzie, you are a werewolf" scene, but as Harold Zoid says, we'll get it in editing. I churned out 7k words yesterday, most of which revolved around Lizzie and my now-brought-to-heel-hero. Huzzah! Now we can get onto the really exciting stuff like the Lupe, the Vargulf and the ghouls!
