Paris!
So I booked my Eurostar tickets to Paris. Now I have to figure out how the hell I'm going to pay for accommodation and expenses. I'll only be there for two and a half days, so in theory I can do it on the cheap. In practice, I have expensive tastes.
Well no, I don't. I don't live an extravagant lifestyle by any means, but I like to be comfortable. I'm quite prepared to skimp on non-holiday stuff until February and I may even go so far as to buy cheap shampoo and conditioner for a while *gasp* But why oh why did I book myself a holiday so soon after Christmas?! What was I thinking? What am I doing? What will I do?

I haven't been to Paris in years - mostly we went to the lesser-known museums to ogle the medieval tapestries and armour, and bought weird bandes-dessinés (graphic novels) in the student quarter. Enki Bilal (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Enki_Bilal) rocks!

Lesser-known museums sounds like exactly what I want! Obviously I want to do the trashy tourist stuff too, but also the random Latin Quarter stuff and ... stuff.
Happy birthday, btw!
