Agency Updates and Title Changes

I had an update from my agent on Ill-Met By Moonlight today. I'm delighted to hear that it's being well received by publishers, but finding a niche for it is turning out to be rather tricky. But I'm feeling optimistic, and I have absolute confidence in Ricia and AJ. 

Wrist/arm/finger pains aside, I'm also feeling optimistic that I can finish Something Wicked This Way Comes this week (if I can keep my boyfriend out of the house, anyway) and once it's done, I'll print it out and sent it off to America. Wheeeeeee! 

Before that happens, however, I need a new title. Turns out some guy called Ray Bradbury has a book called Something Wicked This Way Comes too. The working title for my book was Night's Black Agents, from MacBeth:

Come, seeling night,
Scarf up the tender eye of pitiful day,
And with thy bloody and invisible hand
Cancel and tear to pieces that great bond
Which keeps me pale! Light thickens, and the crow
Makes wing to the rooky wood;
Good things of day begin to droop and drowse,
Whiles night's black agents to their preys do rouse.


I may go back to that if I can't find something more fitting. Suggestions welcome!

What a tool Ray Bradbury is. I'm sorry, I haven't got any suggestions at this moment, but I do think 'Night's Black Agents' is fabulous in a jumps-off-the-bookshop-shelf way! I can't wait to see it published, whatever title it has.

I know! Imagine the cheek of it all. I'm torn between Night's Black Agents and another title ripped from a John Milton quote at the moment. I think I'll leave deciding until I actually finish the book though, lol.

I like Night's Black Agents as a title, possibly even more than Something Wicked... in fact, because it feels less predictable. Or maybe that's just because I was already vaguely aware of the Bradbury one.

I think there's a whole plethora of books and films called Something Wicked This Way Comes! I don't want to have to compete with more famous people if/when the books sell.
