Okay, so I skipped my goal on Friday in order to watch The Crazies, a film so bland it took me an entire day to remember what it was called. Really. I'm not even kidding. I was so excited about seeing this film because the trailers made it look awesome. And then it wasn't, and it was so not-awesome that ten minutes after we finished watching, I forgot what it was even about.
Anyway, so the point is, I wrote 3k yesterday to get back on track! Huzzahs! For some reason I chose to start doing this at 10pm, and finished shortly after midnight feeling like my head might implode. When asked what I'd accomplished with my late-night writing marathon, I could only reply "everyone's lying around in pools of their own blood," which may or may not have been a summary of how I felt.

And then I went to bed and dreamed about dragons.
