And even going backwards, there's funtimes with Robin Hood werewolves! (Crusader wolves omfg), the Romans vs Saxons with the beserkers because you know the Saxons would be down with werewolfiness, and possibly King Arthur wanted werewolf equality for everyone. Half the nobles would be like HALE NO because they're werewolves and therefore special, but the rest would be like "You know, we can find some awesome knights with the peasants," and idk maybe there's a plot to wolf the entire kingdom, which is a fine idea but also highly problematic. I AM NOT MAKING ANY SENSE BUT IT'S ALL VERY EXCITING.

This is all plenty of ammo for Henry to justify his actions. Funtimes later if Henry Fitzroy is legitimised, as Elizabeth would probably still be relegated to princess and possibly declared illegitimate when Anne is executed/fallen out of favour? And then something happens with Henry and Elizabeth gets to avoid execution and take the throne.
