After months of pain, I finally went to the doctor this morning about my RSI. He told me (as I suspected) that my problems were caused by over-use of my arms, wrists and fingers in typing and heavy lifting. He wants me to inform occupational health at my workplace (which I will) and cut down typing in my free time (which I won't). I'll also be getting physiotherapy at some point, either through work or via the NHS, whichever is quicker. Unfortunately it seems this is something that can't be cured, only managed. I suppose I'll have to figure out a compromise of sorts when it comes to my writing. Either save it for the weekends, or stick to half an hour to an hour a night.

In other writing-related news, my computer ate 3000 words of Something Wicked last week, so I didn't make my target of finishing by the end of March. I'm still confident I can finish in the next couple of weeks (RSI allowing) so wish me luck!
